For our ICF Mostra office in Brussels we are looking for a Contracts Specialist to join the Contracts & Risk Team. The post will have significant responsibility including direct working relationships with project staff and senior leadership within the company globally.
You will immediately be supporting the Operations and Business Development Teams in the review of invitations to tender and proposals and identifying sources of commercial risk. You will provide advice on measures to mitigate such risks, maintaining an appropriate balance of risk and reward enabling the company to make effective and well-thought-out decisions.
As part of our bid process, you will be heavily involved in the preparation and negotiation of sales-related agreements e.g. non-disclosure agreements, license agreements, teaming agreements and will be responsible for reviewing draft contracts we receive from our clients.
You will be expected to take an important role in advising, guiding and supporting staff within the business on a wide range of commercial issues, intellectual property rights matters as well as compliance with data protection regulation to ensure that ICF is always working in respect of law and internal rules. You will also be managing contract claims and variations and contributing to the development of internal policies and procedures for managing contracts.
You will have excellent organizational and time management skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business. Due to the nature of our business you will also be able to cope well with a varied workload with changing priorities and complete assignments to deadlines without compromising on quality. Attention to detail and accuracy are very important skills to have.
It goes without saying that you will be comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information and will be able to show discretion where needed.
