We Offer

  • A challenging and interesting role as Legal Counsel in the General Counsel, International Wealth Management division in Zurich with responsibility for transaction management and fund structuring for the Asset Management and Investment Solutions & Products businesses with a focus on energy infrastructure investments and investment structures;
  • In this position you have the opportunity to advise on new products and new business initiatives, individual transactions and supervisory and governance structures;
  • You are responsible for deal negotiation and involvement in respect of all legal aspects of investment transactions undertaken by Credit Suisse managed funds and mandates in an international environment;
  • Drafting and negotiation of the relevant agreements under both common law and civil law jurisdictions and coordination of local and international law firms;
  • Advising on the legal and governance framework within a regulated environment and exposure to regulatory regimes of other jurisdictions;
  • Responsibility for the legal risk management with respect to the products, business transactions, business conduct, and coordination of local and international law firms;

You Offer

  • International degree in Law or equivalent education;
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the asset management industry or in a law firm with an asset management focus in an international environment, preferably with experience in energy infrastructure asset class;
  • Experience in a common law jurisdiction advantageous;
  • Deep knowledge of the scope and concept of the current legal and regulatory developments concerning the asset management industry;
  • Your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as your structured and a results-based way of working enable you to present results in a very efficient way;
  • You are a dedicated problem solver with a positive, empathetic personality and can-do attitude who loves to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments;
  • Your interpersonal skills and your distinctive communication and presentation skills allow you to build up effective relationships even with participants from multiple functional areas and leadership levels;
  • Fluency in English with the ability to draft and negotiate contracts in English language essential; knowledge of German is an advantage;
