We Offer

  • A senior and challenging role which combines management as well as specialist advisory responsibilities supporting different internal clients across the Credit Suisse;
  • As Team Head you lead a team of senior lawyers who advise the bank on Swiss banking secrecy, privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, outsourcing, sourcing and other connected legal areas;
  • In your specialist capacity, advising on complex banking secrecy and data protection matters of strategic importance to the bank;
  • The opportunity to advise on relevant legal risk considerations in the context of transformational projects, including Cloud, FinTech, data analytics, and outsourcing arrangements, and to support the design and implementation of internal frameworks;
  • The responsibility for advising on legal data protection rights and obligations in the context of client relationships, including participation in complex negotiations, and advising on important data subject rights reviews;
  • The chance to closely collaborate with the Group Data Protection Office on legal data protection matters of importance to Credit Suisse;
  • Being part of an open-minded legal specialist team with global coverage that has a strong team spirit and operates in a versatile, dynamic, agile and flexible working environment.

You Offer

  • A sound legal background with at least twelve years professional experience working as a lawyer with strong experience in the area of data protection ideally with international experience;
  • University degree in Law and admitted to practice in Switzerland, Germany and/or Austria;
  • You have experience working in an international multi-cultural and dynamic environment which will enable you to contribute to the team’s success;
  • Your excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate very clearly and your strong social and interpersonal skills enable you to interact and present to senior management as well as to quickly gain trust and build up solid working relationships;
  • You combine an independent, structured and goal-oriented working style with a conceptual and analytical way of thinking which allow you to generate creative solutions to complex and challenging problems;
  • You possess excellent legal and analytical skills and exercise of judgment with high ethical and control standards;
  • You are a dedicated problem solver with a positive, empathetic personality and can-do attitude who loves to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments as well as to work under pressure and deliver timely quality results;
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English and German.
