The Associate Counsel will support the work of the Dentons Europe General Counsel team in advising the firm’s management on a wide range of legal issues.
The Associate Counsel will regularly advise on the implementation of the firm’s growth projects and banking and finance transactions. It is expected that the Associate Counsel will have a growth mind set as well as a solid background in commercial contract and banking and finance law.
The Associate Counsel will also be responsible for the drafting and review of: (i) material agreements (commercial agreements between the firm and third parties, intra-group agreements as well as agreements between the firm and its partners); (ii) internal firm policies and guidelines; and (iii) corporate documents of the firm (a UK LLP) and its associated entities throughout Europe. From time to time, the Associate Counsel will assist with the filing of firm documents and correspondence.
Given this is a regional role, the Associate Counsel may occasionally be required to coordinate the work of local counsel on specific projects.
