Job Description

We are looking for an experienced commercial procurement lawyer to work as part of the Legal Operations Commercial team in Arm Legal. You will work with the relevant business units in Arm in all jurisdictions, with external counsel support when necessary, to provide support to Arm’s Procurement functions.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Acts as primary legal specialist in support of Arm’s business and the Arm Legal team globally in respect of commercial procurement.
  • Provides timely and business focussed legal advice to Arm’s business and the Arm Legal team globally, both in response to specific queries and on a pro-active basis.
  • You will be required to draft, review and negotiate a high volume of varied non-contentious procurement contracts.
  • Develop and maintain in partnership with Arm’s business units and legal stakeholders ARM’s procurement best practice, processes, and where required the same for other areas of regulatory compliance (such as anti-slavery, personal data protection etc).

Job Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified solicitor with significant experience in advising on complex and high value procurement contracts.
  • High level of organisational and planning skills.
  • Self-driven and ability to work independently and with consistent track record of collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage time effectively, prioritise workload and understand business processes, especially under pressure.
  • High attention to detail.
  • The ability to collaborate extensively with other lawyers and business stakeholders within Arm.
  • Good team player, with a pro-active attitude in driving issues through to conclusion.
  • Good interpersonal skills and strong communicator.
  • Good sense of urgency and a pronounced can-do attitude.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Line management experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an in-house legal team.
  • Ability to travel, as periodic international travel may be required (approximately 2-3 times per year).
