Responsibilities

  • Engage with external and internal stakeholders worldwide and make sure solid and reliable contractual relationships are established in a timely manner.
  • Draft, review, edit and negotiate contracts for our commercial teams.
  • Collaborate with the regulatory and privacy team to ensure contractual compliance with such laws.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales enablement team to create processes and procedures to support our rapidly-growing, global business.
  • Help the legal department to create awareness and run internal workshops for the sales team and other stakeholders.
  • Be a legal representation of MessageBird towards several external parties.
  • Attend negotiations, meetings and events.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience gained at a law firm, or in-house legal department of an international company.
  • Start-up experience is a strong plus.
  • Well organized, stress-resistant and autonomous – able to work both independently as well as in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent oral communication and writing skills in English - any additional language is an additional asset (preferably Dutch).
  • Eager to find pragmatic innovative solutions to get a deal closed.
  • Responsible, hands-on, analytical and flexible.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Great understanding of IT processes, the technology industry and trends related to the telecom sector.
  • Experience in Telecom will be considered an advantage.
