GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Our company is searching for a motivated and experienced Corporate Compliance Officer to guarantee that our company is conducting business in compliance with relevant laws and regulations (national and international) , as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards.

The Corporate Compliance Officer will support TFS to assess risk arising form laws and regulations and to implement policies and internal controls to achieve compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and policies that gvern company´s activities.

Your duties will include reviewing and developing company policies, and responding to policy violations and instituting practices that will ensure the highest level of compliance.

The ideal candidate will be professional, highly-analytical, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. To prosper in this role, you should be fluent in risk management and our industry’s principles.

The Corporate Compliance Officer is responsible for supporting Corporate Lawyers or Director Legal in managing TFS legal corporate matters.

The role involves liaison with local external legal firms, and other TFS departments as required (mainly Clinical Development, Strategic Resourcing Solutions, Finance and Business Development).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Develop, implement, manage an effective Corporate Compliance Program in alignment with company strategic objectives;
  • Drive the development, implementation, and monitoring of ethics and compliance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws/regulations to prevent and detect illegal, unethical, or improper conduct;
  • Develop and review company policies;
  • In collaboration with other members of the Legal Department, advise management, employees, the Board of Executive on the ethics and company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports, including sustanability report;
  • Establish regular monitoring of company operations, procedures, practices, and documents to identify trends, and anomalies and emerging ethics or compliance risks within the company to improve existing procedures, controls and program effectiveness;
  • Create, recommend and manage effective actions plan in responce to violations of applicable laws, regulations, polices, procedures, and the Standard of Conduct, audit or inspection findings related to ethics or compliance violation;
  • Resolve employee concerns about legal compliance;
  • Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes and institute practices that will ensure the highest possible level of compliance;
  • Develops and drives internal communications related to ethics and compliance including;
  • Corporate Compliance Program.
  • enhancing the awareness of the standard of conduct and related policies and procedures:
    • Review: review agreements with suppliers and clients (Secrecy Agreement, Letter of Intent, Addenda, Termination Letter of Agreement) for compliance with TFS policies;
    • Negotiate: adapt and negotiate, if necessary, contracts clauses;
    • Support: Provide assistance to keep update Official Commercial Records of TFS legal entities and collaborate with local external legal firms in managing any change in those Commercial Records. As applicable, provide to timely advice on law-related on Corporate Legal matters.

The Corporate Compliance Officer will maintain a working knowledge of ICH/GCP and TFS SOPs.

REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Legal Degree preferably specialising in Private Law;
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Legal Advisor in a private company;
  • Experience in a CRO or Pharmaceutical Company;
  • 3-5 years’ proven experience in a compliance officer role;
  • Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures in pharma industry;
  • Knowledge of regional, local applicable laws in the areas of ethics, anti-bribery, trade and sanction compliance, antitrust/competition law, and data protection;
  • Knowledge of GxP environment and applicable law and regulations;
  • Brilliant oral and written communication skills;
  • Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail;
  • Pro-active, recognizing and anticipating issues, addressing problems and developing solutions and appropriate internal controls;
  • Excellent judgment and ability to address ambiguity and resolve complex issues effectively;
  • Vocal advocate of ethics and compliance;
  • Demonstrated ability of multitask, prioritize, and complete objective;
  • Experience in contract negotiation and drafting contracts (review, negotiation and preparation of legal document, mainly contracts) is desired;
  • Advance user of Office applications;
  • English: advance level.
