We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, proactive and resilient candidate, who is interested in a technically challenging and rewarding regulatory advisory role. The role requires the ability to work independently from day one and to manage a diverse and complex workload ranging from keeping abreast of regulatory developments impacting the PWM business in EMEA and advising the PWM business on complex cross-border regulations to reviewing specific client situations to advise on applicable regulatory considerations and being involved in transactions to a range of regulatory considerations. Lawyers in the PWM team work closely with a diverse group of clients across the PWM business and the broader Legal Department and thrive on the pressures of delivering consistently high quality advice to a dynamic and constantly evolving business.
Advising on the current regulatory regime in the UK and other jurisdictions, both in the EU and elsewhere, as well as the analysis and implementation of new regulations in relation to the PWM business and specific products including, among others, derivatives (clearing obligations; margin requirements; PRIIPs; best execution obligations and product governance); equities; fixed income instruments;
We are targeting qualified lawyers in the 5-7 years PQE range with primarily regulatory experience. Candidates are expected to have relevant post-qualification experience either with a reputable law firm or as in-house counsel. Knowledge of a major European language would be useful.
