You will work within PTC’s EMEA Legal Team, covering multiple pan-European regions with a focus on France, Spain and Italy and be part of the broader worldwide legal organisations;

You will have the opportunity to contribute to extending PTC’s image and exponential growth strategy as a trusted business partner on business-critical solutions and digitization strategies by providing pragmatic legal advice with the required business acumen on all customer and partner facing activities;

Provide autonomous legal support and cross-functional guidance to the Sales, Channel Sales and Customer Success organizations by drafting and negotiating all types of commercial agreements, including software license agreements, Cloud/SaaS, services agreements and partner agreements;
Advise on all aspects of contract and IP/IT law, and collaborate with the Finance and Deal Desk teams on questions of US revenue recognition and applicable internal business rules;
Advise relating to commercial disputes and their settlement, including software compliance and infringement matters;
Advise on corporate governance, Marketing activities, leases, and other procurement agreements;

Your Skills and Knowledge:
You are a French and/or European qualified lawyer (preferably double-qualified and/or fully proficient in more than one jurisdiction) with at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience gained as in-house legal counsel and/or in private practice in an international setting, with at least 24 months gained either in a specialist IT/IP law firm or in-house in an IT/IP company;
Extensive experience with complex contracts and transactions in fast paced technology driven companies, with experience in a SaaS and Cloud transactions. IoT/AR experience an advantage;
Corporate law and/or labour law experience is a plus;
Results oriented, business partner, providing pragmatic solutions, and demonstrate adaptability to change;
Ability to collaborate successfully with and provide leadership to cross-functional stakeholders;
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, in a multi-cultural, agile, diverse and high paced environment;
Ability to think out of the box;
Ability to meet demanding deadlines without sacrificing quality;
Excellent interpersonal skills with a sense of humor, ability to listen;
Excellent written & oral communication skills in French, English and preferably other European languages;
