Associate - Experienced EU Competition and Antitrust Lawyer

To sustain our Europe Competition and Antitrust practice development in Brussels, we are currently seeking a qualified Lawyer specialized in the field of EU competition law focusing primarily on cartel, other antitrust investigations and on merger control procedures.

About You

You are a lawyer duly registered with the Brussels Bar (or qualified with a bar in a Member State of the European Union);
You have a law degree that’s backed up by excellent academic results;
You have gained a minimum of 3 to 6 years’ experience in the legal environment;
You have an excellent command of English in addition to being proficient in French;
You provide clear, precise, tailored service that helps clients in their day-to-day business, taking into account their needs;
You have a strong appetite to further develop yourself as a competition advisor in an international setting;
You look forward to work hand-in-hand with colleagues around the globe in an open, informal and entrepreneurial culture.

About the Role

The role will provide an opportunity to work in a growing team across a variety of competition related tasks. Some of the day-to-day tasks will include:

As a member of our team, you will work for international clients, accompanied and assisted by colleagues across the globe and enjoy challenging work from day one;
You will be given responsibility and have direct client contact from day one;
You will take part in marketing and business development initiatives, as well as internal programmes in a truly international firm;
You will have an opportunity to develop your legal, business and interpersonal skills through training and feedback from experienced colleagues;
You will be in constant interaction with members of the global Dentons competition teams.
