Arrow is now seeking a Legal Counsel EMEA (m/w/d) to join its legal team based at its European head office in the greater Frankfurt area (Neu-Isenburg). The successful candidate will work with other Arrow lawyers advising on a wide variety of commercial & corporate transactions and a plethora of ad hoc in-house issues.
The role, which envisages a wide range of legal issues relevant to Arrow’s EMEA business, is highly commercial, but with strong intellectual and legal accuracy. The ability to influence at a senior level is important, as well as sound commercial judgement and the ability to apply legal principles to identify options and make recommendations in a very international environment.
What will you do:
- Handle a variety of commercial and corporate transactions;
- Serve as a trusted advisor to all employees, providing guidance on a wide range of legal matters, including employment law, labor disputes, and business contracts;
- Draft, review, and negotiate various types of business contracts and documents with a keen attention to detail and a thorough understanding of legal implications;
- Provide expert legal advice and support related to corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters;
- Manage disputes with business partners, including negotiations and, when necessary, litigation;
- Conduct legal audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, implementing processes and procedures to mitigate risks;
- Ensure that all company processes and procedures adhere to government regulations and laws, both domestically and internationally;
- Manage legal matters with an EMEA scope, handling tasks connected with different regions and collaborating effectively with international teams.
Your profile:
- Completed university degree in Law;
- 2+ years of actual experience in corporate environment or corporate legal practice;
- Fluency in English & German is essential. Additional language (e.g. Spanish) would be considered as a plus;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
