Your key responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and prepare legal analyses and opinions on specific situations in various areas of law;
  • Provide legal support to internal professional service lines;
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with, and reporting on, Slovak legal regulations and regulatory requirements within EY, including notifications and registrations towards state authorities (e.g., Register of Public Sector Partners, List of Economic Entities, professional chambers);
  • Prepare corporate law documentation, including filings to the Commercial Register;
  • Prepare supporting materials for proceedings (restructuring, bankruptcy, liquidation);
  • Cover the personal data protection agenda;
  • Provide employment related advice;
  • Cover the global and domestic insurance agenda, and provide public procurement support;
  • Cooperate on drafting and updating internal regulations, and make recommendations for processes and procedures, as necessary.

Skills and attributes for success

  • University education with a master’s degree;
  • A minimum of three years’ work experience as a junior attorney/attorney/internal lawyer in an international corporation;
  • Experience in corporate law, including filings to the Commercial Register;
  • Experience in both preparing supporting materials for proceedings and communicating with state authorities;
  • Experience in personal data protection and anti-money laundering agendas;
  • Independence, with the ability to comprehensively cover tasks and take responsibility for them; a proactive and systematic approach to work; thoroughness with an analytical approach to solving problems;
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written.
