Provide on-going day-to-day legal support to HP’s operations in Greece and few other cluster of countries that may require ad hoc support.
Key areas of responsibility include Commercial contract review, drafting and negotiations, Corporate legal work, Consumer laws, Competition law and Litigation management.
Overseeing and implementing HP’s programs and frameworks related to Anti-corruption, Ethics and standards of business conduct. Working with worldwide legal team members for localization of policies and compliance requirements.
Manage external legal advisors.
Strategic support and participation in the country leadership team.
Reportingto the Region Counsel for Central Europe.
A university degree in Law.
3+ years of post-qualification legal experience.
Experience with IT, Telecom or consumer electronics company will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Greek and EU laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
Hands-on experience in information technology, intellectual property and corporate/commercial practice areas.
Mastery in negotiating or advising senior representatives of external and internal organizations on legal matters.
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
Fluency in English (both written and oral).
Self-motivated team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience of cooperation and participation as part of global legal team in international projects.
Ability to travel (less than 20% of working time).
