Group Legal Counsel - Electromobility

We are looking for a Group Legal Counsel – Electromobility who will support the Volvo Group’s transformation ambitions within electrification, sustainability, and circularity.

In this role, you will be part of the Electromobility Legal Leadership Team and will, together with the SVP, Head of Legal & Compliance Volvo Energy and Group Electromobility, lead and drive coordination and alignment of the electromobility legal and compliance efforts across the Volvo Group.

You will also be given the opportunity to work with a wide range of issues as it will be our responsibility to together future proof the Volvo Group electromobility journey from cradle to grave.

As this role is all about coordinating the legal & compliance related electromobility topics that are relevant across the Volvo Group, you will be instrumental in shaping this role and providing it with content.

What You Bring to the Table

Education: Legal Master’s Degree from an accredited law school;
Experience: At least 6 years of qualified working experience at a top-tier law firm or an in-house legal department;
Communication: You always communicate so that people understand what you want to say. You are fully proficient in English;
Skills: Great project management skills with an extensive and proven track record of leading big projects;
Independence: Self-motivated and highly effective, with the ability to work independently;
Strategic and Hands-On: A strategic mind-set that doesn’t shy away from hands-on tasks;
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the energy or electromobility sector is a plus;
Passion to work TOGETHER with a great management team and department that have fun every day!
