Candidate Profile

You are Postgraduate/Master degree in business law;
You have minimum of 8 years of experience as transactional counsel in the energy or infrastructures sector, internationally (law firm or industrial company);
You are fluent in French and English.

Activities

For our BU Offshore Wind (OFW), we are looking for our future Senior Lawyer Off Shore Wind.

You will report to the legal team of the business Unit (BU). Offshore Wind (OFW) is an active and BU at TotalEnergies Renewables with, currently, a portfolio in development and/or under construction of a capacity over 16 GW. OFW has strong ambitions to develop worldwide with a particular focus on Europe (including France), the UK, the U.S. and Asia Pacific (South Korea, Taiwan etc…).

Being part of the OFW legal team, his main missions are following:

Drafting and negotiation of the related contracts: Pre-contracts, shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, share purchase agreements, power purchase agreements, construction contracts, seabed lease agreements, operation and maintenance contracts, etc…;
Following up on projects’ construction and operation;
Conducting legal studies and monitoring regulatory risks;
Management and coordinating corporate matters: Incorporation of companies, corporate housekeeping, shareholders/board of directors resolutions, shareholder loans, etc…;
Providing Legal support for litigations and/or claim management in relation to the offshore wind projects;
Contributing to the development of appropriate know-how and tools for supporting the activity (templates, guidelines, etc..) and training to operational teams.
