Providing strategic employment law advice on all aspects of the employee life cycle to our People@ team across EMEA, including human resources, recruiting, payroll, people operations, compensation and benefits, immigration and employee relations teams.
Partnering with internal teams to build processes and playbooks for recurring employee-related matters. Working on other region wide projects and initiatives.
Drafting and revising employment related agreements and policies, including offer letters, severance agreements, confidentiality agreements, employee handbooks, and other employment related documents, applicable to Meta’s various global employees.
Supporting employment litigation as necessary.

Bachelor of law or equivalent degree.
Qualified lawyer, ideally in an EMEA jurisdiction.
Minimum 3+ years of relevant post qualification experience in labor and employment counseling, and a willingness to learn employment law in new jurisdictions.
Candidate must be self-motivated with the ability to move fast and learn quickly, and comfortable in dealing with complex issues that do not have a clear solution.
Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to partner effectively with cross-functional teams to provide practical advice and bring strategic and scalable solutions.
Candidate must be willing to work extended hours when necessary to connect with colleagues from other regions and be flexible to travel globally.
