In this role you will:

  • Support and negotiate commercial deals, commonly in relation to international customers or IT and marketing service providers;
  • Assist with legal matters related to our channel partners and indirect sales;
  • Draft and revise the terms of use for various products and services, as we are a product company with numerous complex EULAs to support;
  • Help resolve various marketing and partnership issues, as we often partner with the largest companies in our industry;
  • Work on complex projects, including planning, coordinating efforts, tracking progress, and delivering final results to stakeholders;
  • Conduct legal research on various topics related to international commerce;
  • Assist in the implementation of training programs as needed to achieve compliance with applicable regulations;
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and partners;
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing within the JetBrains Legal team and JetBrains as a whole.

We will be happy to have you on our team if you have:

  • A relevant law degree (LLB, LLM, Mgr., or similar);
  • The skills, familiarity, and efficiencies that come with 5+ years of post-university legal experience, ideally in a multinational corporation or a reputable international law firm;
  • The ability to review, draft, negotiate, and solidify agreements and other legal documents in English to optimize the company’s legal position;
  • Proficiency in another widely spoken language;
  • Previous experience with at least one of the following areas: software licensing, risk management, or project management skills.

  • Are diligent and self-reliant with excellent time-management skills;
  • Are transparent and display integrity and an openness with your teammates and the business as a whole.
